Biography: Nicole Ratcliffe has been supporting families since 2017 to get a better night’s sleep for all. Since 2023, Nicole has made it her mission to change the way parents and anyone struggling with sleep is supported and educated in the workplace, and is working towards making sleep education part of mandatory workplace training in the UK. Breaking down the walls of stigma and laying foundations for a positive relationship with sleep, thus improving mental and physical health, productivity and retention with a focus on helping close the gender pay / career gap by supporting more women in the workplace to continue with their careers.

We’re proud to share that Nicole Ratcliffe, founder of The Workplace Sleep Coach, has been named One to Watch at the Woman Who Solopreneur Awards 2025, recognised for her pioneering work to make sleep education as essential as manual handling training in workplaces across the UK.
The judges described Nicole as “definitely changing the world”, and having worked with companies such as Oscar Kilo – The National Police Wellbeing Service, Police Scotland, Centrica, and Bouygues UK, her work is helping organisations create healthier, more resilient and equitable workplaces.
Nicole has also been shortlisted and named a finalist across several major awards, including the This Is Manchester Awards, Female Business Awards, and BizWomen Awards.
